What I Became

I was utterly rapt like an Asian Lass,
Couldn't respire words full of suavity,
I became a scrapper for voice ,
I was lost with fear,
I needed a stun with a
pinch more than a word,
I learnt to abrogate without words,
I wished to be Worth a priceless commodity,
I craved for strength like an addiction,
From East to West I searched for my origin,
To the North and South I went in confusion,
Like the Samples tale I craved to be heard,
My head aching as if my ears are that of the almighty,
As I heard even those I termed absurd,
I forgot not just were I stood but also were I stand,
My own thoughts became my nightmare,
Cos I became scared.
